CFWW's first roundtable involved an interactive and exploratory interdisciplinary discussion on the causes and consequences of the changing workplace.
Over the last two decades, there have been major changes in the nature of employment relations and workplace practices. The scope of these changes is broad -- including both more precarious work arrangements and more flexible work options, as well as a more diverse workforce. Faculty from across campus are studying how these changes affect employers, employees and their families. This roundtable, which included faculty and graduate students from across campus (Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology, Business, Economics and Management, Family Relations and Applied Nutrition), provided an opportunity to share knowledge and identify additional research questions.
